Larry Joseph is a graduate of the Faculty of Forestry UBC, in Natural Resources Conservation (1999). Larry is a member of the Frog Clan (Gilseyhu), of the Wet’suswet’en and the Carrier People of north-central British Columbia. Presently, Larry serves as one of the Directors on the 9-person International Board, of the Forest Stewardship Council A.C. He represents the interests of the Social Chamber (Northern hemisphere); other Chambers are Economic and Environmental. In addition, Larry is the Chairman of the FSC steering committee working to establish a world-wide Permanent Indigenous Peoples’ Committee (PIPC) within FSC AC.
