Victory Through Honour, Brock Hall, UBC. Ellen Neel, Kwakwaka’wakw (Replica: Calvin Hunt)

If you are an Aboriginal student new to UBC, you are encouraged to receive current news, announcements, and scholarship updates for Aboriginal students, including first-year orientation activities, through one or more of the following ways.

The Talking Stick — During the Winter Session (September-April) this e-newsletter is the go-to source for information of interest to the UBC Aboriginal community, including current news, announcements, scholarship opportunities, and all kinds of events at the UBC Point Grey campus and select off-campus ones. Here, you will also learn about upcoming student orientation activities.

Calendar of Events — Visit this handy online information source regularly to learn at a glance about upcoming events, including student orientations activities.

Facebook & Twitter — Our social media sites are another great way to keep up-to-date on what’s happening. Items from The Talking Stick and elsewhere are reposted to our sites, plus—because it’s social media—so much more!
