As an Aboriginal student at UBC Vancouver, you may be eligible for priority access to housing within the university’s residence system. In order to benefit from priority access as an Aboriginal student, you must meet several conditions:
- Your residence application and all supporting documents must be received by a given date (check here for dates).
- You must receive and accept UBC’s offer of academic admission by a given date (check here for dates).
- You must be a newly-admitted Aboriginal student.
If you are a newly-admitted graduate student receiving one of the following awards: NSERC, MRC, SSHRC, Commonwealth, NHRDP, or CIDA, you may also be eligible for priority access to residence.
