As an Aboriginal student at UBC Vancouver, you may be eligible for priority access to housing within the university’s student housing system.

In order to benefit from priority access as a newly-admitted undergraduate or graduate student who identifies as an Aboriginal person of Canada, your application for Winter Session Residence must be received by May 1.

Students need to apply for student housing in a separate application after applying to UBC. You must also meet a minimum course load of nine credits per term.

Please read important dates for more information.

Aboriginal students who have questions about residence, eligibility, deadlines, or the application process, including fee, should contact:

Erica Triggs, Associate Director, Residence Admissions & Administration
tel: 604 822-5412

For more information on residence life at UBC Vancouver, check out the Student Housing and Hospitality Services site.
